As a Financial Planning Assistant, you’ll blend traditional administrative duties with the critical task of preparing insurance premium quotes and estimates. Your primary goal will be to provide clients with top-notch service through meticulous attention to detail, timely task execution, and proactive management of client needs.

Candidates with experience with an AMP licensee is an advantage
Main duties include:

Summarize client details, set files, and add data to the financial planning software
Prepare product comparison reports which involve digital correspondence with insurance and investment companies to gather specific client portfolio information.
Preparing application forms, reports, and mindmap presentations.
Submitting application forms and following up on applications, insurance, underwriting, medicals, etc.
Prepare portfolio reports, presentations, forms, documents, invoices, templates, etc for client meetings
Schedule meetings, and appointments and manage travel itineraries.
Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Other tasks as assigned by the client or team leader
Implementation of Advice
Gathering, organising, confirming, and preserving all required client work documents and data
Prepare application forms and follow up on their progress directly with product providers.
Utilise the CRM to manage, examine, and update client data.
Create and evaluate policy schedules and investment reports.
Assist the advisor with creating recommendations.
Coordinate with different entities to complete research to back financial planning recommendation

AMP Suite Insurance –  One path, AIA, TAL,
Lodgment and implementation
Ideally have experienced in working with North products and must have experience in Implementation.
RG146 Certification is a plus but not a requirement.

About the Recruiting Process:

Must have at least 1 year experience in AU Financial Planning support
Must be ok with using TimeDoctor (non negotiable)
Willing to take a series of assessments – we make sure you possess the basic skills we need for the role!
Character reference will be required
Candidate must have an internet connection of at least 50Mbps

Salary starts at 50,000-60,000 but can go higher depending on your experience!
